Mt Cass will be the first windfarm in the Canterbury region, and near to New Zealand's second largest city, Christchurch. With a maximum generation output of 94.6 MW, Mt Cass could light up 40,000 homes with clean, sustainable energy.

Yinson is the owner and operator of the Mt Cass Wind Project. Currently under construction, the project is scheduled to be operational by 2028.
